  December 2012

The club has a breakfast meeting at 8.30am, the first Sunday of every month at Cucina Mia restaurant The Mill (alongside the IGA supermarket) corner of Somerset Drive and Gemvale Rd Mudgeeraba. Have a cooked breakfast for just $6.95. All welcome.

February 26th Lunch at Shores Hotel at Ballina

From Cucina Mia it is only 80ks back from Ballina - however to get there it takes 200 k's .....  just the way the world works I suppose -

Meet at Cucina Mia at 8:00 - leave 8:30 sharp. There is a little highway riding but most on  back roads at 70 - 80kpm Morning tea at Humble Pie. 280 k's all up, hope you can make it. See you then

Gordon and Jenny....

On the day -

Remember to make sure you can always see the rider behind you. If you lose sight of them then slow down until you do. This will ripple up to the ride leader and hence keep the group together.

If you have ridden less than 5,000k's on the bike you are riding that day then please say so - a different bike takes time to master.

If it is your first time with a pillion (and they are carrying a couple of Christmas kilo's) please say as toppling on take off's is fine when only one bike is involved.

On the day, if more than 8 bikes,  the ride organizer may decide to run corner markers - the lead bike will indicate to the second bike where to stop. That bike stops there, with its indicator on, until the tail-end bike toots, they then take off in front of the tail-end bike.

11-13th Feb Karuah River Rally, Frying Pan Creek campsite, Chichester State Forest (via Dungog) by
BMW Touring Club of NSW. Rally site is about 30km north of Dungog via the Monkerai and Main Creek Roads between Dungog and Stroud or the Wangat Trig Road past the
Chichester Dam turnoff.
